Dan Zifkin

Dan Zifkin started his career over 25 years ago, as one of the original people at Showtime Entertainment (The Pay-TV Network). He then left there to help start the Entertainment Channel, which is now called A&E Network. He was worked at Blair Television representing over 100 TV stations in the Untied States, and was later promoted to Blair Syndication where he sold a number of their TV shows, such as Divorce Court. Dan was then hired by Universal Pictures/MCA-TV to head their advertising sales. He worked at FNN (Financial News Network) just as it merged with CNBC. He then worked at WGN-TV in Chicago, where he sold for the station on both a local and cable network/national level. Hew was executive VP of a television syndication company for 15 years, where he was involved in casting, promotion, sales, etc. Dan has owned his own company for over 15 years.

Karen R. Brooks

Karen Brooks is Vice President of 3-2-1 Productions.

Brooks has run her own television syndication company, Brooks Communications, for many years. She has compiled an impressive list of clients over the years.  They include:  Western International Syndication, The Samuel Goldwyn Company, Perregrine Entertainment, Fries Entertainment, New York Times Productions, SJ Cannell Productions , Pasetta Productions, just to name a few.

When she began her career, she held an executive Sales Director position with Metromedia Producers Corporation, Gold Key Media (a Technicolor company) and The Robert Wold Company.  While at all three, Brooks was credited with developing their "first-run" programming divisions.

She has distributed hundreds of television programs specializing in producing and distributing music and entertainment series, a variety of OTO specials, children’s programs, news/public affairs, documentaries, live sporting events, sports series, action/adventures series, movie packages and game shows.

While at Gold Key Media, Ms. Brooks was recognized for launching the highly successful, long-running, weekly series, "America’s Top Ten," that aired for twelve subsequent seasons.

As a consultant to Western International Syndication for 11 years, she syndicated the popular urban music series, "Showtime At The Apollo."

After living in Los Angeles for many years, Ms. Brooks now resides in the ski resort of Park City, Utah where she and 3-2-1 Productions continue to work on their own television projects, and on projects with other fine film and television producers.
